Google Chrome & Secret of name

Well as you all know, Google Chrome is the new browser from Google that’s once again again heating up the internet browser space. I am not here to explain about the features of the browser since you can read about it in official google blog here. What I am here to tell you is about how Google still loves messing with Microsoft.

So whats the secret of the name I was talking about? The name “Chrome” is no coincidence. Chrome apparently was a highly anticipated multimedia technology project from Microsoft which was killed days before shipping. The project became a victim of reorganisation at Microsoft. You can read more about its demise here.

Is this a message to Microsoft? “If you cant do it, we will”.

Ways to increase page rank - My experience.

Well,every new blogger is searching the answer for the above questioning and spends most of his/her time and finding the answer.But only a very few succeed in this and the rest?Its hard to say but,they give up! As,you see this blog is also very new and me too trying to increase the visibility of my blog and get a good page rank!

The most important thing to be noticed in this "increasing pagerank" mission is:

Mark your presence!

I mean you have to tell the world that you are there.How can it be done?How can you make yourself visible to the rest of the world?Lemme help you a bit in this....The following are the thing i'm doing right now and many others had did it in past...

Increase Backlinks

What is backlinks? Backlinks are the links to your site/blog from other sites.The more the back links,the more the attention you get and the more the page rank will be!So,try to increase back links!

Work as team

Try to get connected with the bloggers who have same mentality as you and have a similar site/blog as yours...exchange links with them...comments on each others' blog posts.

Join Forums

This another easy way to get some linkbacks.In many of the forums you are allowed to put your own links as your signature.So,place your site's link in your signature.That would be a great way to get some few REAL visitors!

Publish articles

Well,as a blogger you must know to write well! So,try to write articles and in the end of the articles you will be allowed to place your website links.Its sure that you'll get atleast visitors in 10:1 ratio!

Submit to search engine directories

Submitting your blog/site to search engine directories will get some more exposure as your blog/site's link is placed in their site.i mean the web directories.Almost every webdirectory allows you to submit your link for free.

Warning AdBrite.com is a Scam! - WHAT THE HELL?

Yesterday i was googling to find how can send a support ticket to adbrite(to make paypal as the method of payment).I was shocked to see a link titled "Warning AdBrite.com is a Scam!"! I immediately checked out the link and finally i saw a forum whose administrator and assistant administrator are telling that adbrite is scam.They have their own story.I'm not gonna narrate it here instead i give the link,you check by yourself! They also give many more links to the websites talking such *** things!

Well,everybody in the internet know that Adbrite.com is a good reputed company and it is paying thousands of its members everyday! But some of these people try to spoil their names! They might have done some illegal things and so they might have got banned! And now they are spoiling adbrite's name!

In today's world,there is no day when we don't use our browser.With this browser we are getting connected to another computer in the network.We are giving our credit card informations,username,password,etc,..We are playing games,getting connected to others,chatting for long long hours! At first itself,they give us a warning that while testing our browser might crash! We are asked to close all browsing windows/tabs.Also,the site wants us to bookmark it. Yesterday, i have been searching for windows 8(codename midori?) on the internet on Google. In ther results page, i saw a youtube link and i just clicked to watch the video. The heading of the video was something similar to "Bill Gates announces Windows 8" and i was amazed to see the topic and clicked play! Guess what? I see nothing about microsoft or Windows or bill Gates! Instead i saw a bull sh** song or some thing...then only i took a look at the coments(@#@#$#$$&*)!...just a take a look at the video by clicking the link below:

Well,you must red a lot of news(rumors?) about windows 8(codename Midori?),but look here what i got...i got some reliable proofs for this news...there are plenty of teams in windows who are looking into the feature plans of Microsoft..with lots of work,i got the below links,lake a look at them..look at the confirmations:

Digg disappoints new comers?

Well,yesterday i joined digg.com and i have to say that its really hard to get dugged there...New comers get really a low attention there? Well, certainly i'm not blaming digg.com but what i find in digg is members with high diggs always get good number of diggs and new members get very low number of diggs or even zero diggs(!)? I dont even know what i have to do to get a good number of diggs! I'm ready to do anything to get digged! I'm ready to give my full hard work for it! I've seen many new comers over there struggling to get digged! Well,if you are a master digger reading this,Please comment on this!

Windows 7 beta – Currently unavailable!

Microsoft Corporation’s next operating system, windows 7 had been given to people to test it. But there were more downloads than expected! So, Microsoft has Temporarily stopped providing the beta version to evaluate! Microsoft is planning to set up more new servers and then they will again provide it for download! But no information is given about when they will be back!

By reading these please don’t blame me! I’m just giving the results of survey made in United States! That’s all! Swiss computer engineering and network laboratory , IBM and Google has joined hands to do this survey. The results made many people to shock but at last they said they have to agree with this!

While browsing on the internet we are subjected to various threats from many ways. Viruses and malwares search for a weak portion in our browser and then gets into our browsers. So, the companies always make a patch file to stop this threat and make it available for free download in their own site. By downloading this we can save us from new kind of viruses . If we don’t update, then we are in danger!

Based on this , they made a survey and the result is as follows:

ü Most of the people feel that firefox is the safest browser!

ü 83% of firefox users, update their browser with patch file. For safari its 65.3% , for opera its 56.1% and finally for internet explorer it just 47.6%!

Browser patching is one of the most essential thing in today’s internet!

Microsoft will release its updates only once in a month( on first Tuesday of the month) and many people feel that one month is really a long time and Microsoft must release updates frequently!

ü Goto Settings

ü Then click “Gmail Labs” tab

ü Then click on “Enable” on “Create Document” section.

ü Then Click “Save Changes” to save the changes made!

Now, you have this feature in your mail box! Enjoy!

Microsoft is closing the window?

Microsoft Corporation, a company which change the way of computer usage, by giving an operating system called Windows, is finally going to close it. It’s planning to develop an entirely new operating system. The new operating system’s name might be Midori. Its system programming will be entirely different from the windows’ system program. Its said that because of windows cannot be updated for the current needs, they are changing! Let’s look after for further news regarding this!

---------- i red the above news on a computer weekly and i shared this with other people in a forum (mylot). Many people said that its a fake news and Microsoft is not doing that. Yeah, above is not a official news from Microsoft. All we can do is just wait and see...------------

Google is already 10!

On September 7th, 2008 Google had stepped in its 11th year! Now lets look at the history of Google.Look at the Google's homepage in 1997 :

1995 : Larry Page and Sergey Brin met at Stanford University and made group discussion.
1996 : A search engine called “Page and Brin Backrub” was designed by them. It will examine the web links and give the search results according to it! Then Google’s first version was published in Stanford University’s website.

1997 : Google.com was registered. One of the founders of Sun Company, Andy Bechtolsheim invested Hundred thousand dollars in Google! Google’s first work place was set up in a car shed!

1999 : Google gets $25000000 from investments made on it! With 8 workers, Google becomes a company in full form and sets up its office in a place called Mountain View.

2000 : Google introduces Adwords for first time. Yahoo accepts to set Google as its search engine. Google is got in 10 languages. Google becomes world’s biggest and fastest search engine!

2001 : Eric Smith becomes the head of Google Corporation. Page and Brin becomes the head of Production and Technology respectively. Google gets 500000000 information, which were published from 1995, from deja.com.

2002 : Google labs, Google News(with 4000 news articles) and Froggle were started. AOL, an American website, accepts to use Google as its search engine.

2003 : Dialect Society, which is operating in America, finds and tells that “Google” is the most used word in 2002. Google buys Bira labs, which is the main source of Blogs.

2004 : Google shares are introduced at a cost of $85/share. Email service is introduced in the name Gmail. Google Desktop Search is also introduced with it. Google buys Picasa. Picasa’s 6000000000 items combines with Google search engine.

2005 : Google Earth, Google Doc, Google Base and Google Blog Search are started. Google reader, a RSS feed reader is introduced. Google Analytics, a website analyzing program is also started.

2006 : Google buys Youtube.com. Google Calendar, Gmail Mobile, Google Finance are introduced. Google Checkout is introduced for business purposes. Google Page Creator is introduced. After a few problems, Google enters China.

2007 : Google buys an Ad company called Double Click. Google also buys an Social Mobile company.
2008 : Google’s browser Chrome is introduced. It reached 1% of internet users in just one day! And it is increasing day by day.
